Welcome to Dr. Hinzman's American History Class!
This course is offered at the Reading Muhlenberg Career Technology Center for 11th Grade Students. The course is defined as modern United States History but to ensure that everyone has the same background knowledge, we will begin with a review of the origins of this nation and strive to reach the modern day by the end of the school year.
The purpose of this website is to provide students with the opportunity to learn more about United States history, as well as offer an alternative resource for students and their families. As students you can check the calendar to find out what are the planned activities and due dates, as well as find supportive activities or extra credit activities. For parents there are sources of information about the course as well as ways to find out more about the course. This website is a support for the course but obviously is not the entire course itself, regular attendance is necessary for a passing grade in this class. If there are any questions from either parents or students, feel free to submit a question in the form below or submit in any of the assignment sections.
Regularly, students will have the opportunity to give feedback for the website and the course so there will be changes made to the site as these suggestions are presented. As the site grows, please check back to see more changes and updates relating to content and information. If you have any immediate questions or concerns, please feel free to fill out the form below:
